Voices on Porcelain

We are thrilled to announce a heartfelt new project in collaboration with Burbank-based artist Cosette Grider, blending treasured family memories with timeless artistry. In one touching example, a client brought in her grandmother’s china plate—the only heirloom she had left, adorned with delicate roses—and commissioned Cosette to paint a portrait of herself with her daughter onto the porcelain. The result was a moving tribute to three generations, beautifully uniting the past, present, and future in a single work of art. This project invites families to bring forward their own stories—whether it’s an old photograph of grandparents, a beloved pet, or a child’s portrait—and transform them into one-of-a-kind keepsakes hand-painted on antique ceramic plates. Each piece is crafted with care to capture personality and emotion, designed to be cherished for generations, and can be elegantly displayed on a base or hung on the wall with a sturdy metal hook affixed to the back. Beyond creating deeply personal heirlooms and meaningful gifts for weddings, anniversaries, or memorials, this project also uplifts and supports the talent of a local female artist, with proceeds helping Cosette Grider continue to grow her practice. Together, we are turning memories into art—stories into legacy—one plate at a time.
